Cool Clubhouse Creations

Over the past few days, the Clubhouse has seen some very impressive projects, from members, interns, and volunteers alike. One of the most popular projects was 3-D printing. One member, Brian, modeled and printed a very detailed and complicated die. Another member, Sadira, made a stamp of the word "family."
Another popular subject over the past few days was 3-D animation and game design in Unity. One of the most stand-out projects was made by Kadish, a member of the Clubhouse. It was a rolling ball that was controllable and interacted with the surface it rolled on. For example, if the surface became rough or bumpy, the ball would bounce as if it was in real life. Kevin, a Clubhouse volunteer, and I tried our hand at Unity, and although we struggled, we eventually made a 3-D car that flashed it's lights and made noises.
In these few days I have made some projects as well. My favorite is one that I discovered in the Clubhouse last year when I was a volunteer. It is called a "Cinemagraph." A Cinemagraph uses Photoshop to turn an ordinary video into something surreal.
